フランス在住23歳のグラフィックデザイナーPierre Vanni。日本の文化に詳しく、住んでみたい国も日本という大の親日家。



Hitspaper：あなたについて教えて下さい。
Pierre：私はフランス出身23歳のグラフィックデザイナーです。
"P"は私のロゴでありあだ名でもあります。
そして今、紙を使用して多くのもをクリエイトしています。

Hitspaper：Could you tell us about you?
Pierre：I'm 23 years old french graphic designer.
"P" is my nickname and my logo and at this moment, I create a lot of stuff with paper.





Hitspaper：作品を通じて表現したいものは何ですか？
Pierre：プロジェクトによって異なりますね、、、
私はアーティストではなくデザイナーなので、クライアントの目や手となり、人々が何を求めているか理解しなければならないと思っています。

Hitspaper：Whats are you trying to express through your work?
Pierre：It depends of the project.
I'm a designer not an artist, I always have to well understand what people asking me for : I'm just the the eye and the hand of the client.





Hitspaper：経験を通じて発見、認識したことは何ですか？
Pierre："最初に考えつくアイデアは決して最高のものではない"ということです。
その事はいつも肝に命じておくべきだと思います。

Hitspaper：Whats have you discovered or gained through your experiences?
Pierre："The first idea is never the best". You alway have to think about it more precisely.





Hitspaper：あなたが考えるクリエーターにとって最も重要な要素は何だと思いますか？
Pierre：全てのプロジェクトは深い意味合いをもった動機が必要です。
私はそのアイデアを一番活かすに為に、最もシンプルな形のクリエーションが必要だと考えます。
つまりそれは "引き算によって(余計なものを省いていく)" デザインするという考え方です。
ある日その事を友人で教授でもあるBenoit Pereira Silvaに教わりました。

Hitspaper：What do you think is the most important elements for Creator?
Pierre：All projects must be motivated by meaningful stakes.
The forms I create have to be very simple to express the idea in a best way :
I try to create "by subtraction" has my friend and professor Benoit Pereira da Silva told me one day.





Hitspaper：最近の傾向として人々はクリエーターに何を求めていると思います？
Pierre：私はあまり多くの経験がないのではっきりとは解りませんが、有益性と創造力を常に捜していると思います。

Hitspaper：As a recent trend,what kinds of things do you see people demanding from creator?
Pierre：I don't have a lot of experience, but I think they are always in search of efficacy and creativity.



Hitspaper：クリエーターとしてのターニングポイントを教えて下さい。
Pierre：まだターニングポイントには来ていないと思います。

Hitspaper：Could you tell us about your turning point as a creator?
Pierre：I think/I hope I don't have find it yet...





Hitspaper：クリエイティブシーンで興味あることを教えて下さい。
Pierre：コード（www.processing.org）ですね。ここのサイトで作られているものかなり特殊なツールで制作されていますよ。

Hitspaper：What genre do you find interesting in the creative scene?
Pierre：All stuff exclusively created with code (www.processing.org), or with unusual tools.





Hitspaper：将来の計画を教えて下さい。
Pierre：私のガールフレンドCharlotte(Manystuff www.manystuff.org　というブログを運営してます)
とグラフィックデザインについてのオリジナル雑誌を制作しようとしています。

Hitspaper：Could you tell us any plans of Your Future?
Pierre：With my girlfriend Charlotte, who has created the blog Manystuff (www.manystuff.org),
we will try to create an original magazine about graphic design.





Hitspaper：最後に日本人に向けてメッセージを戴けますか？
Pierre：私は日本に訪れてそこで生活するのが夢なんです、、、日本のグラフィックデザイン稲葉英樹や野田凪が特に好きでいつも注目しています。
ところでもしあなたのアパートの部屋が空いていたらぜひ私に教えて下さい！私はとても良いルームメイトになると思いますよ！

Hitspaper：in conclusion ,can I have the message from you to japanese people??
Pierre：Damn! I dream to visit your country, live your everyday life... I am also very attentive to the japanese graphic productions, like those of Hideki Inaba or Nagi Noda.
By the way, if you have an empty room in your appartement, please tell me!.. I could be a very nice roomy ^ ^
